Kristi Henderson :: Social Impact Marketing Strategist
As a dedicated cause-marketing strategist, Kristi Henderson stands firmly at the intersection of social change, political advocacy, popular culture and corporate social responsibility. Earning a bachelor’s degree from Howard University and a master’s from The London School of Economics. Kristi’s commitment to impact, inclusion, racial equity, and culture is rooted in her dedication to systematic change and social innovation. Kristi is the founder of The 2fifty Seven Group, a full service marketing and communications firm specializing in social impact and experiential marketing campaigns.
Her background is a unique blend of big agency, private and public sector, non-profit and start-up experience. Developing leading national and global campaigns, Kristi has worked with and consulted for leading companies and award winning campaigns like Color of Change, Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Essence, Time Inc., Microsoft, American Airlines, Weber Shandwick, THINX, Viacom, TRUTH, Proctor & Gamble, Obama For America ‘08/’12, Elizabeth Warren For President, and gubernatorial campaigns for Stacey Abrams and Andrew Gillum. Her experiential activations have appeared at Tribeca Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival, BET Awards, Grammy Awards, Oscar Awards, American Black Film Festival, The Democratic National Conventional, Essence Music Festival and The Congressional Black Caucus’ Annual Legislative Caucus to name a few.
Ms. Henderson is also a co-founder of The Women in Entertainment Empowerment Network (WEEN). WEEN is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization comprised of more than 55,000 members worldwide committed to promoting the balanced and positive portrayal of Black women in entertainment and the media through mentorship. She is a recipient of the Young Gifted and Black Entrepreneurial Award, Culture Creators Award and a member of Planned Parenthood Los Angeles Board of Directors.
